Jean’s Cold Dill Shrimp
This recipe has been in our family for years. It is usually easy to find fresh shrimp at local markets or at the fishing docks. The fresher the better. It is a great appetizer for any occasion; my sister always served it on Christmas Eve when family and friends gathered at her house.
Ingredients:
2 pounds cooked, shelled shrimp
1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/4 cup salad oil
2 Tablespoons Heinz Chili Sauce
2 celery stalks with leaves, diced
1/2 garlic clove, minced
1/2 small onion, minced
1 teaspoon celery seed
6 fresh dill stalks, chopped
Mix above ingredients and stir in shrimp. Make this the day before serving and leave in refrigerator overnight, stirring occasionally.
