Stuffed Clams
Ingredients
24 clams in the shell
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped mushrooms
2 slices bacon, cooked, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon minced parsley
1/8 teaspoon pepper
margarine
Preparation
Wash clams thoroughly under cold running water. Shuck clams, reserving half of the shells. Scrub reserved shells and drain. Chop clams and combine with bread crumbs, mushrooms, bacon, and parsley; season with pepper. Fill shells with clam mixture; dot with margarine. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes or until top is brown.
