Island Style Biscuits.

I don’t wish to be mean, but I need some good biscuit recipes. I need air tools to eat my wifes biscuits. I didn’t want to hurt my wifes feelings so I told her I lost my job because I had been hanging out at the bar. However, the truth is I have been spending all my time at the dentist getting my teeth filled and bonded from eating her cooking. Anyway, I came across this biscuit recipe but I will never be able to convine her to try it out. She is convinced she makes great biscuits.

* 2 cups flour
* 4 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 cup butter
* 2/3 cup milk
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/2 orange, juice of
* 1 orange, zest of, grated

Directions

Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in butter, stir in milk, turn on floured board, roll 3/4″ thick.
Cut with 1 3/4″ floured cutter.
Place on buttered sheet.
Brush biscuit with orange juice and sprinkle on grated rind.
Bake 425 degrees F until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
