Seasoned Breadfruit Chips with Avocado Cream Cheese Dip

BREADFRUIT CHIPS
1 breadfruit
salt
black pepper
onion salt
garlic powder
oil

AVOCADO CREAM CHEESE DIP
1 medium avocado pear
6 ozs. cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
2 tablespoons milk
salt

Breadfruit chips: Peel breadfruit, cut into sections and remove the heart.
Cut into slices and place in salted water for half an hour or more. Dry the
slices and fry in hot fat until golden. Drain on paper towels. Meanwhile,
mix the salt and seasonings together and sprinkle over the chips just before
serving.
Avocado cream cheese dip: Halve avocado lengthwise and remove seed. Scoop
out the pulp. the shell can be saved to be used as a container for serving,
otherwise discard. Mash the pulp with cream cheese and other ingredients.
Serve piled in a small dish or the shell, surrounded by breadfruit chips.
